I don't give two craps what anyone says; Rob Zombie's vision of 'HALLOWEEN' is awesome. I know a lot of die-hard purists hate it, but there's very little real reason beyond using the internet to once again anonymously dump on an otherwise great movie. Following HALLOWEEN II the series took so many varied directions you can barely call it a series. In my eyes there are only THREE HALLOWEEN films: HALLOWEEN, HALOWEEN II and Rob Zombie's HALLOWEEN. Rob gave it a much needed kick-start, in the right direction. Consider this: Busta' Rhymes karate chopping Michael Myers. Still think It was Rob who ruined the character? If you don't get it now, you never will.
He is built on a Side Show Collectibles body. I extended the figure at the waist and added my own ball-jointed neck/shoulder sculpt, raising the figure to imposing 13 1/2". Tyler Mane, the actor who portrayed Myers, is 6' 8". The coveralls are patterned right off a pair of actual Carhartt model X0-2 coveralls. They feature large breast flap pockets, rear pockets and a utility pocket where Michael sometimes placed his knife in the film. The knife actually fits in this pocket. They also feature storm flaps from the waist to the cuff with faux snaps. There is a portion of REAL BRASS zipper at the open cuff bottom to complete the look of the waist-to-cuff zippers characteristic of Carhartt coveralls. There are also two black name badges; one on the chest, one on the upper left sleeve. These are blank. It's impossible to tell in the film what they say, if they say anything at all. The coveralls are made of fabric the exact factory color of Carhartt, dyed and stained to match the film color. They are heavily weathered and blood-stained. There are FOUR bloody bullet holes; one in the left chest where the cop shot him and three in his back where Loomis shot him. He also has the bloody rip in his left collar bone where Laurie stabbed him. Even the hole in the left knee is present. His outfit is completed by a blood-spattered white T-shirt. This is actually a FULL BODY Lycra suit to give him just a bit more bulk. He is also wearing weathered and blood-stained black work boots.
This figure comes with THREE HEADS, all are Sovereign Studio ORIGINAL sculpts. All three are ball-jointed. The set includes: the iconic mask; weathered and cracked and painted in several layers to match the exact look of the film. This is NOT a resin head! This is a REAL LATEX RUBBER MASK over a hand-painted resin insert head. The mask has REAL HAIR. The second head is Michael unmasked, his face obscured by his dark, dirty long hair. The hair is a latex casting and is very flexible. The third head is Michael in his paper mache jack-o-lantern mask. The mask is resin, hand-painted and dirty. This is NOT a one-piece sculpt. The mask is not removable, but is separate from the head. The head is the exact same sculpt used for the unmasked head for continuity. The mask has a REAL string tie. I even did the impression in his hair where the string sits (NO detail missed!). This head features a completely different wig sculpt to accurately capture the way this mask was worn in the film.
He has Side Show hands; very dirty and bloody. He also includes a blood-stained knife made of REAL METAL.
